i agree taylor, you can get away from volcanoes but earthquakes can happen anywhere so you really cant run away from it.

I have to disagree with you, yes volcanoes can kill many people ut earthquakes can to. People have a choice to live near a volcano or not and can stay away from them but earthquakes can happen anywhere at anytime.

I think earthquakes are more dangerous because a volcano can happen in only certian places and we have a choice to live near it or not, but earthquakes can happen anywhere and we can't tell when. Volcanoes are very deadly but you are warned sooner then when a earthquake happens you arent warned soon enough. Earthquakes can also happen at the bottom of the sea. Which cause massive waves called a tsunami. A tsunami destories everything in its path much like a volcano but a tsunami is just a part of a earthquake. Earthquakes destroy building with people in them and kill thousands of people a year! (I have got all my information from http://www.bbc.co.uk/newsround/14649717 .)
