I think the volcanoes are more dangerous than earthquakes. Volcanoes are formed under the surface which causes expelling lava, rocks, and smoke. The lava can travel for many miles and at a rapid speed. When the rocks fall down they can cause a serious amount of damage. Just as the smoke leaves it travels far distance. When little kids play in the grass they don't realize that they are being poisoned. The smoke causes acid rain and if the people breath it in they can get really sick and some could die. Another effect is that the volcano fumes can cover up the sun , without the sun there is no plants. Without the plants there is no animals and humans will eventually become extinct.
