I believe that volcanoes are far more dangerous than earthquakes. You cannot build a volcano proof structure, as the molten lava would cause too much damage. Volcanic activity can also cause damaging earthquakes and tsunamis. In fact, if the Yellowstone super volcano erupts, about ⅔ of America will be destroyed. It would spew ash that could block out the sun, damage buildings, smother crops, and knock out power systems. The ash clouds could result in freezing temperatures and lack of food sources.
