I agree with Clayton because lava is truly a hazardous thing to humans and can really damage towns and cities.

I believe that volcanoes are far more dangerous than earthquakes. My first reason to conclude this is because you can build earthquake proof structures that can go under testing. http://www.reidsteel.com/information/earthquake resistantbuilding.htm (See link.) You cannot build a volcano proof structure, as the molten lava would cause too much damage. Volcanic activity can also cause damaging earthquakes and tsunamis. In fact, if the Yellowstone super volcano erupts, about ⅔ of America will be destroyed. It would spew ash that could block out the sun, damage buildings, smother crops, and knock out power systems. The ash clouds could result in freezing temperatures and lack of food sources.
